This was our fourth stay on the ranch and we loved it just as much as all the other times. Marlin has always been very helpful and everyone else we met has been nothing but pleasant. Such a peaceful place. Ideal for recharging. The cabin had everything we needed and was comfortable. Our dog loved saying hi to the camelids and we will definitely be back.

This was a nice and relaxing little getaway. Such a beautiful ranch to visit. The cabin was very cozy and I really enjoyed the swing as well. Overall it’s peaceful and I highly recommend.
This place is a gem. Almost don’t want to give that review as I feel it’s frankly underpriced as it’s an experience as well as a place to lay your head and leave city life behind you the second you turn off the 5. Stunning, unique vibe – very authentic, sturdy cabins, really remote views despite the fact that you are super close to things. I also felt really safe knowing Marlin had fire and emergency experience and that they were on property yet we enjoyed total privacy. The staff cleaned the cabins incredibly thoroughly. It allows you to experience a full ranch vibe – the animals were gorgeous; all friendly and come up to the fences to say hi. The log cabins – we actually used 3 – the first was Llama which is right by the animals and gave amazing sunrise views. We then moved to Bobcat and Muley Buck, which are a very very short drive/walk from the animals and give sweeping uninterrupted views and awesome privacy as well. Everything was well thought through, appliances were excellent standard, brand new and worked fluidly, the whole place was spotless. It really felt as if care and effort had gone into being disciplined about what you’d need and then providing that at a high standard. We’d love to come back sometime.
We had a fantastic stay at Marlins ranch. Check in and out was easy. The cabin was very clean and had that incredible fresh wood scent. It was very peaceful and serene with gorgeous views. The hammock and swing were such great additions and we enjoyed grilling most nights. The animals! They are super friendly and such a joy to spend time with. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle. Loved this place so much. What a great and unique stay this was!
The Perfect Off-Grid Cabin. If you are looking for space to relax and escape the chaotic life of the city, this is a booking that you must make. Beautiful sunrise.
Wonderful place to stay if you’re an animal lover.
My wife and I enjoyed a three day getaway in the new Bobcat canyon. The animals were a plus that you won’t get at most places. Also, the location was excellent: a grand view from the top of the Grapevine!

This place is a lovely spot nestled off the five freeway in the middle of nowhere.
If you are looking to get away from the city noise and have a nice quiet stop off the beaten path, this is your place.
If you are looking to have internet for your stay, this is not the place. No working internet at all. Though there is a password for such, there is no signal able to be picked up via network on the lone juniper ranch near these cozy cabins.
Also do not use your navigation to get here. Search for Gorman, then follow the directions the host gives you.

An extraordinarily clean, very private, off the beaten path place to really check out for awhile. We had a great stay, and Marlin the host was very attentive and nice.
Marlin is an amazing host! Made it so easy for us to arrive and check in! I highly recommend to stay here, it is truly an experience! Everything you need is provided & the ac in the cabins are great!

The animals are super cute, and the cabin is great.
Amazing little cabin. It was clean and kept cool when we arrived. A perfect getaway from the city life. Also pet friendly which was nice! I recommend staying here to experience this place. Though the caveat is that getting to the cabin requires driving on unpaved road on the side of a windy mountain. The other cabin and rv were on the same lot but we still had our own privacy in the cabin.
Absolute gem of a find… We stayed 2 nights to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life and this cabin more than delivered.
We will definitely be back!
